Antique stoneware - 5 5/8" tall. 15 3/4" Diameter. Did not notice any makers mark. I am sorry but other than being told by seller that this is very old,I know nothing. I tried researching, but there r hundreds of pottery & stoneware items..sorry
Looks like a middle Eastern water jug !! Looks old but may not be !!
I'm no way an expert but had a similar one which I thought was old but in fact made for tourists !! Out of memory I think mine was egyption!
I was told they sell them at their museums..
I hope someone can tell you for sure .. You've listed it in the right place as there are some really cool people on c\w that know a great deal!!!
