I picked these up at a second-hand store yesterday. They were very dirty, but they cleaned up nicely. they are 6.75" tall x 4.5 inches wide, and 4.5 inches tall x 2.75 inches wide, respectively. the graphics are really wonderful! i don't know what that little half-oval image is in the second photo. do you? any ideas on how old these are or what they held? i'd guess honey candy, but who knows?

I think the half oval would be where they entered the hive.

any idea as to what these tins held? honey candy?

Something dry...wrapped candies like you suggested. Could be tea tho...someone must recognize these. Maybe they're English or Scottish.
