Antique French Print with Antique Dowel Wood Frame, Unknown Year of Mfg.

Found this in the attic of an old home hanging. It appears to be an early French print. I noticed the frame is put together by Dowels. Any information on what type of print this is or the name and Era the frame was created would be appreciated. This frame measures 17 1/8 x 14 1/4.
