Alva Museum Replica Statue

I would like to say first, I know I have a problem. I need to stop going to auction because I feel bad for the items that are not getting bids and I buy them and figure out what they are afterwards.

I believe this guy is made out of plaster. I further think that he is a Alva Museum Replica of a statue. The problem is I can't figure out what statue he is a replica of, does anyone have any ideas?
