Pottery vase signed "Sowell 67" do you know this artist?

I recently purchased this vase in McKinney, TX at an antique store. It is 7" higher, and the mouth to the vase is 2". On the bottom where the signature is and there is no glaze, it appears to be made from a red clay. The indented lines on the vase are crude, making the vase have a very nature feel. If you know anything about the artist I would appreciate your input. The tag on the pot said "Red Brick". Regards, Beardog99
