This well loved bracelet chronicles the naval career of Otis McCormick (name is worn, may be McGormick, or something similar). His ID number and USNR for naval reserves is engraved on the reverse. The date 7/1/45 is on the left side.
The R for reserve eventually got crossed out and the date 11/28/1947 is engraved next to it. I guess he decided he loved the navy enough to give up the reserves for full time service.

    Saved it from being scrapped
