    This was found in a loft. Made of mahogany wood. It can be carried flat and has lots of measurements and a spirit level. Wondering if this has something to do with measuring a projection of an object but no idea really.

      It's an angle finder for roof pitch and the like.
      It vary similar to a carpenters speed square but probably used for layout on large timbers.
