In search of its mate....

I purchased this chair & ottoman online over a year ago and cannot find one like it anywhere.
The cornered back of it makes is a bit distinguishable.
I am thinking it may have been a "hers" to a his and hers set but I I have had no luck.
Does anyone have any clue about this chair?
I really want to look for its mate but have no idea who made it...
