Hi all

Bought this dish today at the boot fair and was wondering if someone could tell me if it is Vaseline glass? Never seen that before so no experience of it.

It looks like it could be. Use a Black Light, or a UV flashlight to find out for sure.

Your welcome Hamish. With a UV light source, all vaseline glass will glow. Go to my page, I have a UV Heron, I produced the glow with a UV flashlight.

Thanks Deano. Well I shone a UV torch onto it in the dark and it did not glow at all, just turned purple with the UV. So that answers that, not Vaseline glass.
