This is a 6 inch musket powder flask. It appears to be copper or brass. It has been soldered on one side and has a dent on the back side. It is the image of a man with a musket and a dog, under a tree. It came with a double barrel musket I've had for over 40 years. I've researched the net and found quite a few but none with this design.
You can get a new pouring spout from Dixie Gun Works. Age it by making sure any finish is off & then suspend it over a little commercial ammonia in a sealed jar. Put it where you can ck if often because it doesn't take long.
