    SanAntonio…
    (3 items)

    Hello Everyone,

I was about to turn this lamp into a project and attempt a self-restore when it dawned on me, I should make sure I know what I have before jump in.

I was hoping that someone out there might be able to help me identify the maker and time frame that this lamp was made.

It is a floor lamp standing about 5 feet tall. It has what I think is a wrought iron cage which consists of 3 extensions that support the center dome which I think is hammered copper but just a guess. There is a center piece of conduit that runs up and that is were the power cable currently runs. In the top of the lamp where the bulb goes, there is a brown or amber colored stone, hard plastic or something that can tolerate heat and it is translucent so it glows when the lamp is turned on.

I understand this is not much to go on so if there is something I can look for or inspect that might give some indication, please let me know.

    Thank you!

From this configuration photo it looks as if the shade does not belong. Maybe photograph it without the shade to see the entire top.

Okay, so I took the advice of bladerunner22 and just updated the pictures. I still dont know much but my guess is this lamp is not terribly old. The top area where the lightbulb goes is a clean smooth white tin and it looks like the exterior is painted to resemble copper.
That said, the whole thing could just be hammered tin that is painted the copper color.
I'd still like to know more about it so if anyone has any idea, the intel would be greatly appreciated.

The beehive part seems to be put together all over the place. Like someone made it in their garage, that appears to be why it is so unfamiliar. Would also like to see the base, or if you could describe it. Right now it really looks like a put together lamp and the ouside body looks like the only original piece to the lamp.
