Onyx Mantle Clock

Passed down through the family this was my great grandmothers piece. The base is onyx and has a shakespeare sculpture mounted on top of the clock made from brass. Cant find any maker marks on the piece; however, I'm not sure where to look. I have a copy of my grandmothers estate appraisal from the early 60's valuing the piece at $2500.
