This chair was put outside of someone's home to be collected with their trash pick-up. I have not come close to finding another chair like it, even anywhere online. I do not have any information as to where or when this chair is from. Any information of any sort is GREATLY appreciated!

Most furniture makers, about 99%, left no records at all of their factory or any info. If you had a maker mark on chair you could check out the local history room in the library to see what they have. Hope someone has the same chair, as most factories made their own spin on a design of a chair so there are as many designs as you could count.

Thank you both for your input! Unfortunately, there is no maker mark or any informative mark on this piece. Although the frame is wooden, I discovered that the ornate-looking badges are not wooden, but instead a grainy plastic-like material. The gold paint is flaking away. The original red upholstery has been ruined from it being outside. I've decided to keep this as my own, put a fresh coat of paint , glaze it, and re-upholster the chair. Fun project ahead! It will be beautiful again!
