1960 0r 1970 scrolling desk calendar made in Japan.

Saw this in the Value Village. I think it is from the late 1960 0r 1970 era. It is made of metal. Is it called a scrolling desk calendar or a perpetual desk organizer? It says made in Japan on the underside. It is missing the pen that went with it.
