Found this little vase approximately 20 years ago and can't remember the maker. My memory forms words like "Christople" but for the life of me that name isn't in any of our books and can't be sourced through an internet search... at least for pottery. It has the look and feel of British studio ware.

Recently we found a similar example with the addition of a "----- Ware" mark on the base. Does anyone know who made these or have an idea of the first word in the black mark?

Hi vetraio50, The writing on the small impressed mark is in English if my memory serves. It was placed in storage to rotate the displays and has gone missing so I can't double check. >.< The quality of clay is rather high when inspected, the example stating "---- Ware" is not as elaborate but the same colour and glaze technique.
