The Golden Shield Corporation began in 1959 and was in the business of designing, procuring, and distributing products such as radios, typewriters, and phonographs, to name just a few.
This camera was one such item, made exactly like the Argus C3 Matchmatic, but "dressed up" with a metallic Mylar covering on the front & back and finished off with a Golden Shield badge in place of the Argus logo.
