This is a Dr. Pepper Cooler and matching Grill, never used, that I got out of storage unit. I also got a Coke Grill out of the same unit and it too had never been used before. What I would like to know is When and Why these were made? How many were made . I have looked around online and found lots of Grills that look like the Coke but I have never found anything with the Dr. Pepper logo like these. I sent an email to Dr. Pepper they ask me to contact the Dr. Pepper Museum so I did, they email me regularly but not about this Grill Set. I heard from someone else that only 40 were made but I don't know if that was true. I hope by posting here that someone will remember if Dr. Pepper ever had a game and one of the prizes might have been a matching Grill and Cooler set? They have been well taken care of and look like they have never been used. I would like to know when and why they were made? And any other information that you can give me about these items here. Thanks in advance.
Excellent! My girlfriend has the Coke ones similar to yours. but I have never seen Dr Pepper before. Hers are probably 70's, yours look newer than that. Thanx for sharin.
