I find it fascinating the way that styles of pottery / decoration move around the world over time. here is a beautifully glazed bowl w/ an incised design and a bold, abstract glaze over it. it looks so much like a sancai glaze which i think became popular around the world during the 1920s/30s.
i really love mexican pottery more than ever after this trip i just took! i'll post some more photos of the cool things i found later.
i wish there was a mexican pottery category under art pottery.
