    Any information on where this may have originated and what the symbol actually means , colors are white , pink , maroon , brown and grey .

      I think the rug originated in Mexico, I have also have a couple of these type of rugs. I'm not sure about symbols, I would look on the web for Mexican rugs. Good luck.

      Ty for comments , hoping i can figure this piece out , Ive done endless research , some of the pattern design is typical of navajo design ,but navajo doesnt typically do fringe ends , no idea what figure represents and its quite intricate figure with alot going on .. Im tottaly lost on this one . Any help is greatly appreciated .
