18th..19th Century Native American? Beaded stuffed mat. Its 24" x6". Hand woven fiber.Appears to be 100% woven from flax,or possibly hemp.It is about 3/4 inch thick with straw or grass stuffing. Not 100% sure that its even Native American. I have a piece I've had for years very similar in materials and stitching and am sorry to say I haven't any information on it either. I thought I could upload a picture it may help in identyfying your piece as it has beadwork depicting faces and lizards and might be easier to help determine its origin. Particularly the materials used in the back and the perimeter stitching. I will upload under..."lostandthenfound" good luck let me know how it goes.
