Found this Kodak "Retina Projektor" (or Projector) recently at an estate sale. It's in terrific shape and though it didn't have the power plug, it came in it's original Kodak latched hard case with the name Kodak printed inside and has 4 adaptors for different size film and slides. The large projector bulb inside seems intact and in good condition.
The plate says: "Retina Projektor - Kodak - AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT - Berlin-Stuttgart - Kopenick"
There seems to be very little information on these projectors except that it dates from the 1930's, just after Kodak bought the German firm Nagel Camera Werks AG from Dr. August Nagel. Almost seems like a cross between a magic lantern and a film projector.
An old French(?) ad for it that I found online is attached, along with a couple photos of it that I took.
Does anyone have more information on these? Would love to know more of it's history, etc.

In 1928 the German August NAGEL , Contessa founder and co-founder of Zeiss Ikon , creates his own cameras factory in his home town of Stuttgart. It soon becomes famous through a small format camera " Nagel- pupil " .

Three years later , in 1931 , Kodak acquired the company " Nagel Camera Company " to take root in Germany. The company became Kodak A.G. , manufacturing site for Kodak equipment for decades. More than 150 different models will be manufactured by Nagel and his successor Kodak AG .
The " Kodak Retina Projektor " is the first projector of this brand manufactured in Europe . The cylindrical body of the device houses a bulb finned tube ( without ref . ) . It has a 24x36mm slides for film holder which can be placed horizontally or vertically. It is removable, it can be assumed that the device could also be equipped with a film holder for 35mm films. The screw goal is referenced " Kodak Projecktionsanastigmat f: F = 3.5 7.5cm No. 1,256,372 ."

I had to translate that ^^ from French. It's basically a slide projector! Very cool. I love ,machines of all kinds. Never saw one like that! There are a couple on the web.

Thanks for the input Celiene. It's interesting that the only info online I've come across is in French, and there is no mention of the Kodak carry case (which I should have included in the photos). It contains padded slots for the adaptors and is form-fitted inside for the projector.
If I had room for it here (I have a rather large camera collection, totaling probably 1000 cameras and extras, but only a fraction on display) I'd keep it, but I'm tempted to put it on eBay so someone else can display it and enjoy it.
Without the cord, it would just be a nice display piece for someone. Someone probably has a cord that would work. The focusing lens looks original and is clear and clean. It and the components were well taken care of.
