I was at a local "Junk Sale" over the weekend and found this, what i believe to be a steamer trunk. It has a lift out tray inside and a gray and off white striped interior, and the only identifying information I see is what I believe to be the key number stamped on the lock which is "g22". I was just curious if anyone might know of any information on this like maybe time period, brand, how to get a replacement key and so on, anything would be much appreciated. I am not looking to get any type of appraisal for resale or anything, I make jewlery and I got it as a gift to store my supplies. Once again thank you in advance and ant information would be appreciated.

Beautiful, fantastic to still have the leather straps intact! My guess is late 1800s, but it's just a gut feeling.
