would love help identifying this little dish.... not sure if this is valuable or not. my grandmother spent time in japan way back in the early 1900s... possible earlier?

Hey, ksk, I was directed your way by Thomas @brunswick to see if I could possibly help....... but without any markings at all on the piece, it's virtually impossible (for me) to even make a guess. I showed your pics to my wife, who's native Japanese and would know a lot better than me, and she says the same thing. Sorry. [;>)
