Good morning. Came across this one recently. I have seen many similar, but think the detail in this one may date it a little older than those. Two piece pinback. Silver part stamped GMS Inc NY or GHS Inc NY on the back. No marking on the gold part but would presume it is gold filled by the feel and look.

USN officer hat badge.

Not certain on era, but would suspect more modern (post WW2) due to double pin back vs. pin and a screwback.
