    Not sure where I got this pitcher or wine jug. I am not sure what to call it. It has a lid that I think is used as a cup or shot glass also. It is signed on the bottom Makovkin.

      Rub talcum powder firmly into the words on the bottom and see if you can read them.

      The potter is Sasha Makovkin (1928-2003).
