Unknown artist of illustrator inspired(?) pottery

Found a couple of this artist's work at a thrift store near Seattle. Was intrigued by the look and the illustrator inspired style (just my opinion and I'm no expert ;) Maker's mark appears to be a bird. Any ideas as to who the artist might be? I would like to satisfy my beginner amateur pottery collector OCD and find a few more of their pieces. This is my first post to CW. I am glad I found your site! Am into pottery, serigraphs, Swedish Crystal, metalware, etc... Thanks!
