To tell you the truth, I do not even know what to call this thing. I like the spiral design on the inside and the colors are nice but I am not sure what this would be used for. I had seen this for a while and it was half off so I bought it.
Just a decorator pottery piece. You can put nuts, candy or whatever you like in it. Not meant for cooking. This might have been part of a set. You don't say how big it is.
