Some close ups of the man in the couple from the posting I listed a few mins ago

Here are a few close ups of the man from the photos I just posted. In the second picture you can see what appears to be the linen backing. And in the two of his beard and collar you can see the design on his shirt. I thought earlier maybe it was hebrew but now that I have blown it up, I can see that appears to be wrong. His beard may be made of spaghetti though ...
Any help identifying what kind of picture this is would be greatly appreciated.
