Cast Iron Dutch Oven

I was given this cast Iron Dutch oven a few days ago and was interested in getting some info on specific maker, etc. The only marks are the 8A on the bottom of the pot and inside the lid is the 8 and upside down V. It needs a good cleaning but looks like it could be very useable once reconditioned (Anyone know how to do that?). Its pretty light for cast iron so not sure what that means. I expected it to weigh more than it does. Its approx 10 inches across
