I purchased this at an antique mall. I'm wondering if it truly is an antique and about how old it is. It in good to very good condition.

I would think it is a little shy of being an antique (100 years old). The style is consistent with 2nd quarter, 20th century.

Thanks for the information. I thought it might not be antique, but I purchased it because I liked it not for the antique factor.

I do have another question. Is there a way to find out who made the dresser? I couldn't find anything on the exterior or in the drawers. There was 52 written in chalk on the bottom of the drawers. I'm not sure that it had any meaning at al.

Kind of a "needle in a haystack" venture without markings.

I'd double check for markings. While most would have something on the back originally, there may be something on the interior. Take the drawers out and check the interior with a flashlight. Check the drawer backs, sides and bottom.

      Good luck.
