COLLECTIBLE VHS, THE "ERNEST" SERIES OF FILMS! JIM VARNEY, EARTHA KITT '92

Just a few words of intro. VHS has been "dumpstered" since the advent of DVD--but some are actually collectible! VHS Collectors, do not desire their obscure or lesser found movies on DVD...DVD versions are not collectible as a prize title, or an achievment to acquire but just for the viewing in your "collection" will be meaningful to you.
Harder to find VHS is sellable, especially Grade B movie hookum!! The worse acted and filmed the better--Especially in early science fiction! VHS can be collected in categories, or randomly. Early horror films with bloody, horrible covers showing femme fatale types in scanty clothing in obvious danger from garish monsters---- desirable!!---and we laugh! What was serious then, is ridiculous now. Get the picture? That is just the beginning for what's collectible--The more obscure the title--- the better and .I'll slip in more examples from time to time.
Oddities slip in and will always sell.. "Ernest" series is one of them
"Scared Stupid" doesn't show up in the condition you see here that often, the cover is usually pretty beat. People want the whole run of titles. The movie was a family favorite!! I try to find the BEST possible. (For re-sale)
Many sell movies on eBay--I do. Thousands, of which just certain titles sell---but most people don't know what will therefore title after title after title, go wanting for a buyer at any price!!Any! Fine movies--destined for the trash bin.It gives me grief.
Sometime I'll share why, and what people do connect with. ,IF you have desirable, rare titles in VHS you can turn over some cash for yourself. I have been doing i talmost 10 years. Gradually they have become missing in thrift stores, and workers and the unenlightened-- are tossing "gems" the the trash before collector can look them over.. Donations come in ,in droves and are allowed 1 week on the shelf in many stores--and they are out!-As for collectors- lead us to a big box of old VHS, and we know what to take--like 1 in 75!!
