Antique Cooking Chair

This Piece was passed down to me from I don't know how many generations. I've been told it's about 200-250 years old. It was made for the woman to sit in while cooking in the fireplace. The legs are only 11" long so she can sit comfortably, but low enough not to have to bend over.
