I am going to pick this up tomorrow but I don't have much information because the owner is in a nursing home. Does any one recognize this piece and can you tell me approximately the time frame.

    Thank you for your thoughts.

These were made in the late 60's and into the 70's. During that time there were many import companies being set up especially coming in from Italy. A lot of the plaster statues were made into the 80's and the quality was poor to very good. The base was also made of composition but with a real marble Italian top. Sometimes the bases were 24 inches wide of real quality black Italian marble. Only bought one of them just for the rare black good marble. I seen a lot of them into the 90's at garage sales. When the import business was strongest there were many shops set up just to carry this import trade. Have added to my collections where there are others to see. Phil.

Thank you PhilDMorris- I appreciate your help. I was thinking perhaps this could be Hollywood Regency. (I knew I wasn't going to get to retire from this purchase) but I loved it anyway. Hahahahaha

Yes Hollywood Regency is the bastardized title as they call it.
