Anyone recognize these cartoons-symbols painted on this military card table?

Old wooden card table. Fabric top missing, cartoons painted on table top. Assuming it was military issue-used but not sure. Not sure how old the table is or paintings. Birds-Air Force mascots? Laurel and Hardy pic, symbols on one of the card sets. Not sure what to think of it. The art is very well done. Any help figuring out this mystery would be much appreciated!
