I picked this up at a garage sale, I've never seen another one like it.
I tried to research this online, I couldn't find anything about it.
It shows "property of coca cola company of Canada" on the top wire.
It is weathered but shows some coca cola red so I guess it was red at one time, must be very old.
I don't know what it was used for?

I imagine for carrying bottles. You can always ask Coca Cola Canada:
