    Its a medal pin but I just remember being given it many years ago by a man for walking his dogs. Is there any background or significance to it?

      Looks like a Patriotic pin-- could be WW2.

      A photo of the back showing the pin back and any markings would be helpful to date it.

      Also the measurements or a size comparison would help.
