Telephony Was Rated Poorly A Century Ago

I had read in the 1879 Scientific American magazine about how the telephone would not amount to much in the future. The article was written three years after the invention of the telephone. In April 1980 I submitted the article to GTE of California monthly newspaper called North Country.
