Beautiful Drum

This drum has been in my family for a long time but I'm not sure how old it is or if it's from either Japan or China. It's 22" inches wide and 12" inches tall. Could be a dinner drum, some have said TomTom but I doubt it. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
