This book was first published in Italian in 1950. I'm 1/2 Italian on my father's side, so this book is really interesting for me. Oddly enough, though, I was raised on a good deal of old fashioned Jewish cooking; my grandmother and great-grandmother were Jewish. My mother, however, LOVES her Cannoli!
