Mantel Clock - heavy brass chimes with spinning jewels

This clock has been in our family for many years. It was once a part of a large collection of clocks that were one of my grand-uncles ( 1930's and 40's collection ). It could be much older than my estimate of his collection. I know nothing about it, other than that it weighs about 25 lbs, has chimes, and the jewels on the front rotate. I haven't dared attempt to wind it up until I have it restored. I thought I might see if anyone can tell me anything about it before I spend a fortune having it restored. I can't wait to see this this working and to hear it's chimes!
