Purchase this book at an auction for $ 3.00. It is about the civil war, printed in 1904, it has pages after pages of flock-prints photographs of Lincold, all of the generals, union blockades, battles from all the States/civil war. A gorgeous book. Also see part of my first print/antique books
Nice book Pepi, I participated in a Civil War reenactment two years ago in Northern California, so this brings back memories of that, a "weekend in hell!" :^) Marching and fighting in 103 degree temp. in a wool uniform, black powder rifle, for two shows a day, and trying to sleep on a rocky pasture ground at night, it was too much for this old man. I pity the men that did it for real back in the 1860s! I'm glad that I had the experience, but won't do it again! I'll leave it to the younger guys! :^) Thanks for posting it!
Thank you bill. Is a beautiful book and in excellent condition, like you I have many others antiques and first edition.
