Just found this cute little bowl among my Dad's stash. Looks to be Korean Chinese and is made of cast iron. Diameter of bowl is about 4 inches and sits no more than an inch high. The inside resembles markings on coins but I'm still not sure what its function is. Could it be a sauce bowl? an ash tray? a trinket bowl?
Any ideas of function and age is appreciated.

I have one and always assumed it's an incense burner because mine has a lid with holes in it.
Will have to take a few pic's and share. Not sure if the mark on the bottom of mine matches this one.
