This is what I like to have with me, when I'm on the hunt!
First my collecting bags. I like leather! I've had these two for at least fifteen years, one is a satchel, just a leather bag with handles, large enough for most of the pottery, glass, metal or wood items, that I look for.
The other has three separate zippered sections, and an open pocket, on one side, it also has two zippered pockets, in the center section, and it has a shoulder strap, for carrying hands free.
Next is my search tools, two flashlights, extra batteries(for the flashlights, or testing, battery operated things I find), a Leatherman Multi tool, a steel tape measure, four magnifying lenses(2x,5x,7x,10x jewelers loop), a magnet(for metal test), a clock key, and tissues(for wiping off dirt)
Next my carrying bags, money bags(cotton canvas), several sizes, other cloth bags, and my favorite Crown Royal felt bags, assorted sizes. I use these bags to keep my items separate, and for leaving them my car while I shop. Once they're mine they're treasures! :^)
Thanks for looking!
Thank you for your comment Thomas, I forgot one important thing, that's $$$, and small bills and even quarters, just in case you're looking for the best buy you can get! :^)
Thanks for the love Thomas, and Zilla, much appreciated! :^D
Wow Bill......you sure are organized and I love your leather bags!!!
Thanks Judy! I try, but pictures can be misleading! :^D I do loan out a lot of bags, because I hate to see something broken, even if it isn't mine! I love my leather bags too, and always get good comments on them, I do have others, but these two are the ones that I always use.
I want to thank you all for checking out my treasure hunting tools, and for leaving some love!

and CG5, thanks for your comment too! That is a magnet, on a flex handle, that I use to test jewelry mostly, but sometimes for getting a dropped screw or nut!
You are all much appreciated! :^)
