    This measures about 8" long.

    This type of item was very popular. Like brass shell casings that fired the rounds, the steel shrapnel littered the battlefields.

    It epitomizes Trench Art-- pieces of deadly and terrifying artillery shrapnel turned into a useful item.

    This one is a plain example, I have another with an intricately engraved blade that I will post later.
