Hello all! I've had this duck myself for over 30 years. My elderly neighbor at the time gave it to me and my husband as a wedding gift. She said that it had been in her family and it was a Murano. (At the time, I had no idea what Murano was but she assured me it was something special.) I've enjoyed it all this time and always received compliments on. In the picture of the bottom of the base, I was trying to show the grounded pontil. In the picture of the tail, I was trying to focus in on the "snip" marks. I see a lot of snip marks ... for example, all of his toes, applied wings and base are snipped as well. I'm looking for confirmation that it is indeed Murano and any other information such as age and possible manufacturer, etc. Thank you so much! P.S. I didn't realize how dirty it was in between the base creases and hard-to-get-t0 places until I saw the close up pictures. It's gonna take some cleaning, lol. Ahh well ....

Btw, he stands a little over 11" tall and weighs about 3 lbs, 10 oz. Thanks!

Unfortunately it has a value of ZERO as it has that damage on the bottom. It is modern, not old, these colorful glass jobs are found even at Ross Dress for Less, they're everywhere. I would put it up for sale at a yard sale, hope you did not pay very much for it.
