My mother told me this belonged to an ancestor from the civil or revolutionary war. She said it was a dress sword. There are the letters KO TM between crossed swords and letters U R under the swords. Letters M C around what looks to be a tent in the middle of other lettering. Does anyone know anything about this sword?

This is an organizational sword. Maybe Knights of Columbus, but non-military weapons is not my thing.
