I found this bowl while rummaging through my late grandfather's treasures. The most I have discovered about it is that is was made in 1928 (the mushroom like stamp tells me this) and that it was from a very popular restaurant called Longchamps in New York city.
I would love to hear any information about it that others might know.
It stands 2 1/2" tall, the bowl top is 4 1/4" x 3 1/4" and the base is 3"x 2 1/4". It is silver soldered with the number 04076.
