Japanese pottery-- maker's mark?

I inherited this vase from my Mother who passed away seven years ago at 93! Her Father was a merchant marine and picked her up gifts from all over the world, including live animals, lol! I cannot find this maker's mark anywhere and wondered if someone could tell me who it is...
