Saxton Map of Norfolk 1574

I bought this map from a junk / secondhand store at a time when I thought we might go bankrupt. It looked like a nice thing and my husband is from Norfolk, but on the way home I began to think I had been foolish and wasted the £2.50 that I had spent - the frame was shoddy and the map stuck to a board. The little auction sticker with Phillips on intrigued me - I thought maybe they were a local house clearance company, but no they are Phillips of London and have never dealt with house clearances! (The phone call was amusing). Anyway I plucked up the courage to take it to a local auctioneer who confirmed that it was original and not a re-print. Looks nice on the wall but feel nervous about keeping something that I think should be with a museum or collector - Anyway it belongs to my husband now as he reminds me. This was my first old map purchase - I will keep a look out for more but I think they won't compare. I know you state no selling but advice on looking after and where to sell if / when husband decides to sell might be useful - We are in the UK. Many thanks.
