This is a 1950's Adler 87 Portable Sewing Machine in its original "Tailor's Case". It is in outstanding condition, and all I had to do to it was put on a new belt to get it running (other than a usual cleaning/oiling). It's an amazing machine. Durable, has zig-zag and reverse, so even though it's an extremely heavy "portable", it's a very practical machine to have. German-made quality means that this thing is a beast, and can handle most household sewing projects with ease. It unfortunately has 5 "bagel" bobbins" - the huge collection pictured were sold off by the previous seller before I purchased it, but at least I have the five in excellent condition.
